Now in its 35th year, with the annual theme ‘global – local’, the isa – International Summer Academy of the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna – will once again be held at the MuseumsQuartier Vienna in 2026. Selected participants from the summer campus will present a cross-section of isa26 on 26 July at 6.00 pm. Hosted by Johannes Meissl, artistic director of the isa and vice-rector of the mdw, the audience can look forward to a varied programme of solo and chamber music works that brings to life musical perspectives spanning global interconnectedness and local roots, whilst also incorporating the unique atmosphere of the MQ.
