In his sculptures and installations, Fabian Seiz creates artistic reflections on time, mortality, and the meaning of form and content by repurposing everyday objects and material, often used or discarded.

Memory is a central theme in his work – not as a static record, but as a dynamic, constantly changing process. His working method also reflects this approach, encompassing conservation, destruction and recycling. His early work is also used as material for new pieces, giving his art itself a cyclical structure. At the same time, his works reflect on the social and aesthetic significance of the materials he uses, with a deliberate focus on “democratic” materials such as particleboard or newspapers. His sculptures invite viewers to discover the stories and meanings behind everyday objects, prompting them to question the mechanisms of mass production, consumption, and memory.
