MQ Midsummer Night

A cosmological theater for the summer solstice, a ritual staging, an earth drama, a flurry of sounds, atmospheres and lights. The rolling sphere projects itself onto the collective corpus that rolls the small earth through the MQ courtyard transformed into a celestial arena, escorted by the carpet beater ballet as a sublime human machine. It is about the fragile balance, the suggestive state, about information, arrival and future, about a question and answer game on and with the earth. The oracle sphere is in turn rolled around and circled, touched, danced to and sung about. An allegory of earthly existence in the form of a vehicle with vehicles.
