“FloodZone” is an extensive photography project by Anastasia Samoylova that explores the issue of rising sea levels in Miami, Florida. In it, the city’s tropical color palette and light interact with the growing tension between the booming real estate market and the ocean’s encroachment on the coastline. The idyllic setting is becoming increasingly fragile.
