WIENXTRA-Kinderinfo is the information centre for children’s culture and family leisure activities in Vienna. Our team provides free, comprehensive information on all leisure opportunities for children up to the age of 13.

At Kinderinfo it sometimes gets quite lively. For some people, this can become overwhelming, they may find it hard to focus on the information, ask questions, or may even feel overstimulated.

We want to make information accessible to everyone. That’s why we have a quiet hour at the Children’s Information Desk two days a week (Tuesdays, 2:00–3:00 p.m., and Thursdays, 5:00–6:00 p.m.).

During this time, the rule for everyone in the room is: Psssst! Instead of climbing and sliding, there are coloring pages and books to look at. The lighting is dimmed and the radio is turned off to reduce sensory barriers. Come by and give it a try!

Kinderinfo facilities, including the restrooms, are fully accessible. If you have any questions or specific requirements, please contact the Kinderinfo team. We also welcome your suggestions on how we can make our information services more inclusive and look forward to hearing from you.
