Once again this year, light and installation artist Martin Markeli is transforming the water basin in the MQ’s main courtyard into an island world that visitors can explore using various floating objects.
Visitors navigate their remote-controlled boats through an exciting course, playfully demonstrating their skill and precision.
This summer activity combines play, exercise, and collaborative exploration in an urban setting, transforming the courtyard into a lively gathering place for families and recreational groups.
Information
- Aquadrome will take place every Saturday, Sunday, and on holidays from July 25, 2026, through September 13, 2026, from 14:00 to 18:00.
- Boats can be rented for € 5,–. If you bring your own boat, you can ride for free.
