“Zunder” follows two teenagers as they grapple with their own inability to find the right words – and that of those around them – and addresses this with humor and empathy. Although sexualized content is constantly available, especially online, and easily accessible even to younger age groups, no one really wants to talk about it. But what do you do when you’re exposed to these images – whether by accident or on purpose – without having the words to describe your own feelings about them? What’s often missing in these conversations is a language for the feelings these images trigger. They can be a source of rejection and fascination, but they could also be a good opportunity to talk about intimacy and tenderness, about one’s own boundaries and the ability to say no, about shame and vulnerability.
