The POETRY SLAM is your stage to show the audience, through your words and performances, what moves you, makes you angry or happy.
Join us and experience the power and beauty of words in a captivating show brimming with wit, poetry and impact. Feel the energy as the stage comes to life through the voices of all the young spoken-word artists, who express their stories, emotions and thoughts in a truly captivating way. Enjoy an unforgettable evening that will move you and inspire your thoughts.
Your words. Your stage. The only conditions are a 6-minute time limit, an original text that you perform yourself, and no props, costumes or singing. Beforehand, you can polish up your text and performance with experienced slammers. If you don’t want to perform yourself, you’re very welcome to come along as an audience member or a judge! Oh, and of course, the audience can be over 20 too.
Before every U20 Poetry Slam, there’s a ‘schreib’ KLASSE! session at 4 pm!
