U20 Poetry Slam
Join in
The poetry slam is your stage to show the audience, through your writing and performances, what moves you, makes you angry, or makes you happy.
Your words. Your stage. The only requirements are a 6-minute time limit, an original text that you perform yourself, and no props, costumes, or singing. Before the event, you can work with experienced slammers to polish your text and performance. If you’d rather not perform yourself, you’re more than welcome to join us as an audience member or judge! Oh, and of course, the audience can also be over 20.
Before every “U20 POETRY SLAM”, there’s a “schreib’ KLASSE!” session at 16:00 Adina Wilcke and her team will guide you through the writing process and give you tips for your performance at the slam. For participants in the “schreib’ KLASSE!”, admission to the slam costs a maximum of €1!
