FESTIVAL OF THEATRE WORKSHOPS | MÆNIC PAN!C
Concert | DSCHUNGEL WIEN | for everyone aged 12 and over
Mænic Pan!c – the band, not the hair colour! Mænic Pan!c formed in August 2025 at the Pink Noise Camp. Although they are a relatively new band, they have already played two gigs: the closing concert of the Pink Noise Camp and at the block party organised by the Flash Mädchen Café.
Mænic Pan!c consists of four musicians. On drums is Lisa (she/her). Mika (they/them) is the lead vocalist and also plays bass, whilst Miomi (no pronouns) sings alongside Mika and plays keyboard/synthesiser. Milena (she/her) plays the band’s guitar. The band sees itself primarily as a rock band, but does not wish to limit itself to that genre, which is why Mænic Pan!c plays a diverse range of songs. At present, Mænic Pan!c has two songs that they have written and composed themselves, which they perform live.
The lyrics are very emotional and heartfelt – that’s exactly what the band stands for. The first song, “When Stars Die”, was played live on St. Pölten Campus Radio on 11 October 2025, alongside an interview with the band members! As a four-piece, the band also enjoys covering hits that they like or find inspiring, such as “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana or “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers. Mænic Pan!c is a young, emotionally charged band that likes to move freely across rock ’n’ roll subgenres. With their four members, they’re ready to rock any stage.
