SCHALLUNDRAUCH AGENCY | A play about growing up in the city

Ball, tree and dove: three words fill our daily lives for weeks on end, and then words gradually start to pour in. City words. Digger, car, dog, crane, underground, penguin, home, umbrella, Danube, coffee, hot chocolate, avocado. Cow and tractor are holiday words. The sea, of course.

What’s it like growing up in the city?

The songs, stories and poems in this performance draw on the vocabulary of children aged between one and a half and three years old. There is clapping, snapping, dancing, singing and storytelling. During the performance, the toddlers are free to move about amongst the performers and explore the space, dance, song, rhythm and language as they please.

Duration: approx. 35 minutes, followed by free play
