MQ Anniversary Campaign “Generation MQ” with KULTURFORMAT
Starting now, the MQ anniversary campaign “Generation MQ” is on display across Vienna. To mark the 25th anniversary of the MQ, star photographer Elfie Semotan has captured portraits of 25 individuals whose stories and influence are closely intertwined with the development of the MuseumsQuartier.
The campaign is part of the long tradition of the legendary MQ posters: For 25 years, the MuseumsQuartier has been known for its ever-changing location campaigns. Iconic designs such as “Eimer für alle” (Büro X, 2004), “Kulturoase” (Büro X, 2005), and “MQ Man” (Büro X, 2006) have played a key role in establishing the MQ as a cosmopolitan, vibrant, and diverse arts and culture hub within Vienna’s urban landscape. A key factor in this success is the partnership with KULTURFORMAT, which ensures the visibility of cultural campaigns in public spaces and makes art and cultural content accessible to a broad audience.
“With our anniversary campaign, ‘Generation MQ,’ we’re shining a spotlight on the people who have a special connection to the MQ. Out-of-home advertising brings the diversity of these voices to life in Vienna’s urban landscape and connects the MQ with its visitors. KULTURFORMAT is an important partner in this endeavor for art and culture.” — MQ Director Bettina Leidl
“As a long-standing out-of-home partner, we support the MQ in all its campaigns. It is our pleasure to now also showcase the ‘Generation MQ,’ as portrayed by Elfie Semotan, on our digital screens throughout the city. We extend our heartfelt congratulations on your 25th anniversary, thank you for your long-standing trust, and look forward to many more joint projects.” — Heike Fischer, Managing Director of KULTURFORMAT
