The “Anniversary Edition” of the iconic Enzis, available in the colors “Punschkrapferl Pink” and “Soda Lemon Yellow,” has now officially arrived at the MuseumsQuartier.

To mark MQ’s 25th anniversary, there are two Enzi colors this year—thanks in no small part to the large turnout of around 20,000 votes in the online poll at the end of last year. To celebrate the arrival of the new Enzis together, the MQ invites all visitors to join the “What’s Your Taste? Enzi Photo Challenge” on April 16 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Dressed in pink or yellow, visitors can record clips using a 360° Video Glam Cam and share them on social media.

In cooperation with the traditional pastry shop Gerstner, an exclusive “Punschkrapferlrosa Enzi Chocolate Edition” is now available in the shop (MQ Point).

Enzi: A Cult Classic

The Enzis have long since achieved cult status and made their way out into the world: from Vienna to Albania to Seoul. It all began in 2002, when the first Enzis were set up as igloos in the courtyards as part of the “Winter at the MQ” event. In 2003, they were also set up in the summer, and since then, it’s been impossible to imagine the MQ without them. By 2004, there were already pink Enzis, and by 2009, yellow ones—so this year’s colors are part of MQ history. Voting
