Communications & Marketing Internship
Starting in June 2026 | Full-time (40 hours) or part-time (30 hours)
As a diverse arts and culture complex, the MuseumsQuartier Wien offers a wide-ranging artistic program to over 5 million visitors each year—spanning visual arts, architecture, design, music, literature, and film, as well as theater and dance. The MQ sees itself as a pioneer in bringing together art, culture, sustainability, diversity, and social inclusion.
MuseumsQuartier Errichtungs- und BetriebsgesmbH is seeking an intern to join its “Communications and Marketing” department starting in July.

Responsibilities
- Research, order management, proofreading, and preparation for press events
- Assistance with content entry and preparation for the MQ website, as well as creative content creation and community management for social media
- Management and archiving of press clippings
- Accompaniment and support during client visits or meetings with artists
- Project management assistance in the development of a new website
- Support in the area of wayfinding systems (posters, flyers, etc.)
- Work in Customer Services
Requirements
- High school diploma or vocational school diploma
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office, basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop)
- Excellent command of German and English
- A conscientious, organized, and team-oriented approach to work
- Good time management and a hands-on approach
- Interest in art and culture
The position is for 30 or 40 hours per week, with a gross monthly salary of €800 on a full-time basis.
