High above the MuseumsQuartier, the Zur Libelle rooftop bar offers one of the most impressive views of Vienna, stretching from the historic center to the Vienna Woods.
The Rooftop Bar Zur Libelle is located on the MQ Libelle, the terrace area atop the Leopold Museum. At a height of about 25 meters, it offers an open-air setting for drinks and fine finger food overlooking the MuseumsQuartier.
We serve a selection of wines, cocktails, craft beers, and light bites—perfect for an aperitif or a relaxed way to wind down after a visit to the museum. The menu is intentionally kept simple and tailored to the venue.
The spacious terraces offer views of the MQ courtyard, Maria-Theresien-Platz, and the surrounding downtown area. The rooftop bar Zur Libelle is open to the public and adds a unique, elevated venue to the MuseumsQuartier’s dining scene.
