With its shady chestnut trees, classic Viennese cuisine, and urban laid-back atmosphere, Glacis Beisl—with its spacious outdoor seating area—is one of the city’s most popular pubs.

Glacis Beisl is located on a preserved section of Vienna’s historic city wall and combines classic Viennese pub culture with contemporary architecture. Especially in the summer, the spacious outdoor seating area beneath old walnut trees offers a peaceful retreat right in the heart of the MQ.

The menu features traditional Viennese dishes—no frills, just a focus on quality: from goulash and boiled beef to pork crackling dumplings and blood sausage rolls. The menu is complemented by a carefully curated selection of Austrian wines.

Open year-round, Glacis Beisl is a place to eat, celebrate, and relax—for visitors to the MQ as well as for Viennese locals. Affordable lunch specials are also available.
