Balázs Turai is an animation designer, writer, and director based in Budapest. His aim is to create psychedelic, vivid and at the same time commercially enjoyable short films. Turai is known for his cocreation of the animated series “Candide” and “Oligarchia,” as well as for the success of his first short film, “Amok.”

Project Info

During his residency at the MQ, Balázs Turai is working on a 1-2 minute pilot episode for a psychedelic series in which people undergoing a space migration experience different VR worlds. His long-time collaborator Benjamin Efrati is helping him to develop the story and music. The working title is "Little house on the prairy on the spaceship".
