On Lottery Day, Friday 11 September 2026, mumok will be open to visitors from 10.00 to 18.00, with free admission. Free tickets are available from the MQ Point on presentation of a product from the Austrian Lotteries.

The exhibition “Terminal Piece” brings together works from the mumok collection with new pieces and external loans. Spanning several levels, it explores the relationship between the artwork and the viewer. In “Figure of the Child”, Tolia Astakhishvili transforms the museum into a vibrant space of experience with large-scale installations combining sculpture, sound, video, painting and drawing. The Lotterien Day at the MQ offers the chance to explore both exhibitions free of charge.
