JOUR FIXE ART: Non-violent communication with children and young people

In this workshop, we will look at the basics of non-violent communication (NVC) according to Marshall Rosenberg and its application in theater pedagogical work with children and young people. NVC helps us to communicate authentically, resolve conflicts sensitively and create a space in which children and young people feel safe and valued.

Together we work out how we can use conscious language to recognize emotions, express needs and create connection. The focus is on practical exercises that can be integrated directly into everyday theater pedagogy. These exercises not only promote the ability for self-reflection, but also empathy and respectful cooperation - the cornerstones of successful work in children's and youth theater.

The aim is to act mindfully and clearly both in communication with the participants and in dealing with challenging situations. The focus is on strengthening the relationship level and creating a positive, cooperative learning and working environment.
