Martin Markeli – Artist, DJ, and music lover

Martin Markeli is not only a DJ, but also a passionate music lover, artist and curator of analogue sound culture. He expresses his deep connection to music through a wide range of projects. One of these is the Monday Listening Club, which he is once again curating and performing at this summer at Vienna’s MuseumsQuartier.

He operates at the intersection of art, music, and cultural curation. As a DJ, artist, and collector of analog sound carriers, he views music not merely as sound, but as cultural material – as a vessel for memory, a social gesture, and a space for collective experience. The vinyl record is at the heart of his exploration: a medium with history and weight – both physical and emotional.

For this evening, he’s bringing a carefully curated selection of vinyl records from all over the world – hand-picked, unearthed from deep crates, and put together with an eye for detail. This live set follows a subtle narrative in which music and community come together in a special way.
