FLO REAL, formerly known as “da nightnurse,“ draws inspiration from the r'n'b, soul, boogie, and funk sounds of the 1980s, rooted in her father's vinyl collection. Starting her musical journey during the golden era of hip hop and influenced by radio programs such as Gilles Peterson's worldwide show, Florence started exploring all facets of electronic music, crafting eclectic, soulful sets with a jazz attitude and an afro-funk feeling. She honed her skills while working at Kruder & Dorfmeister’s renowned “G-Stone Recordings“ label and joined the Dub Club Vienna family around the same time. After a two year stint as an on air personality at Radio Superfly she joined Moodymann's Mahogani Music label in 2010. As a core member of Vienna's “A Party Called Jack,“ she continues to make waves in her hometown. Expect to be mesmerized by Flo Real's healing sounds and her passion for 'that good stuff!
