Sculpture workshop with Zahra Mirza at the BRICKerl - a public brick pavilion in the Az W court built by TU Wien students in the context of the exhibition Assemble. How we build.

In cooperation with Az W Architekturzentrum Wien

This halfday sculpture workshop offers the possibility to learn to know and deepen the understanding of conventional and unconventional clay modelling and hand building techniques. Zahra Mirza: “As we re-unite with one of our oldest building material, we rediscover the delicate discussions, negotiations and maneuverings of form and essence. Together we conceive, shape and create forms through collective skill sharing”.

This workshop is open to all ages, with all levels of ability and experience.

Materials will be provided and ideas will be realized as sculptures, forms and objects together with artist Zahra Mirza , who is also member of Kunsthalle Wien Denkfabrik.
