Vortrags- und Dokumentationsreihe, gedacht vor allem für Jugendliche zwischen 9 und 15 Jahren (zusammen mit ihren Eltern oder mit ihren Lehrerinnen und Lehrern), worin Biographien einzelner hervorragender Mathematiker und Mathematikerinnen (beginnend mit Pythagoras oder Archimedes und endend bei Paul Erdös oder John Nash), verbunden mit Schilderungen des geistigen Umfelds ihrer Zeit, vorgestellt werden und die mathematischen Leistungen dieser "Helden" im Kontext zu den daraus gefolgerten Errungenschaften der modernen Gegenwart anschaulich nahegebracht werden.

Organisatorische Details: Der Eintritt ist kostenlos. Bei größeren Gruppen wird um Anmeldung gebeten (info@math.space.or.at).
