Artist, translator. Graduate in Social Sciences at PUC-Rio / Visual Anthropology at the New University of Lisbon (Portugal, 2000). Worked as a
researcher in music and anthropology at CESAP Rio de Janeiro - Center of Musical Studies at the University Candido Mendes, coordinated by the anthropologist Santuza Cambraia Naves.
Worked as a researcher and producer at the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro and at the Hélio Oiticica Art Center. Has a Master degree in Visual Arts at the Fine Arts School of
EBA/UFRJ (2009). Worked at the magazine Arte & Ensaios (UFRJ), was collaborator at the Santa Art Magazine and is currently editor of two art publications: Elástica, published in
partnership with Beatriz Lemos and Rafael Adorjan, published by the editor Multifoco; and Rébus, independent publication. Studied at the School of Visual Arts of Parque
Lage (2003-2009), and has given lectures there on the work of Gordon Matta-Clark. Was also a founding member of the urban intervention collective La Rica. La Rica’s last presentation was
at the Biennial of São Paulo, 2010. In 2014, Rébus 4 was selected for the 10th Biennial of Brazilian Graphic Design and "Radio Rebus", a radio show, was selected for the 5th Biennial
Marrakech / Saout Radio, Morocco, as a sound intervention in the citys taxis. The video Radio Saara / Proyecto Trueque - sound social project, created by Rébus in collaboration with the
Mexican artist Jorge Sosa, was shown at the Simultaneous 07 - Siqueros + The Tallera Foundation in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Rébus has participated as a guest in several printed art fairs
in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. In 2015 participated in the Art Residence Lastro Arte - Free Exchanges in Art in Mexico City (May / June) receiving support from the Prince Claus
Foundation. In 2016, made an independent art residence in Medellín, Colombia (December) researching the Nadaísmo poetry movement. Translated books on the Brazilian performance
artists Márcia X (2014) and Hudinilson Jr. (2016). Also organizes the Pororoca Independent Publication Fair in Rio de Janeiro and recently founded the Escritório Cosmos, an independent
publication and creative space in the center of Rio de Janeiro, with three other artists.
