Glacis Beisl

The legendary Glacis Beisl refers to itself as "Viennese with a twist," a culinary experience blending Viennese
and classic Austrian cuisine. The interior echoes the tradition of a real Viennese Beisl-style tavern, with dark
wood, absinth-green Formica tabletops, and a poured terrazzo floor. The winter garden and pergola define the
outdoor seating area and establish a connection with the interior space.

The three-meter-high Growing Wall, created in collaboration with garden artist DI Bernd Hochwartner, sets a
green accent that is visible from Breite Gasse. Covered with plants that include edible and fragrant fruits
and herbs, it restores the original charm to the centuries-old garden.
