This attractive cafe was designed by Angela Hareiter of the Ortner & Ortner architectural firm. A giant window in the back left corner provides a wonderful view of the Interior Courtyard of the new MuseumsQuartier.
Café Leopold is an integral architectonic element of the Leopold Museum. A terrace features a delightful view on the courtyard, and in the summer there is outdoor seating in the Main Courtyard as well. Café Leopold offers Viennese coffeehouse tradition in a contemporary ambience, snacks, entrees, and lunch menu. Bar operation in the evening with screenings of video productions by experimental Austrian filmmakers and regular DJ lineups.
